Our client is a leading multinational technology firm that is looking for a Director of Marketing Communications to join its fast growing team in the US. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Product marketing capacity at a firm that offers IT security/ storage products.  This position will be located in our client’s South Florida sales office. Relocation for exceptional candidates may be available.

Virtual office situation not preferred but possible for exceptional candidates located on the East Coast..

 

The Director of Marketing Communications will direct and manage the marketing team , as well as manage outside vendors and channel partner relations. The individual will be primarily focused on marketing communications, lead generation campaign management, public relations, product marketing and ongoing customer lifecycle (CRM) programs. Working with Executive Management team and VP Marketing,  the Director of Marketing Communications will be responsible for strategic development, project management and creative development of a variety of marketing communication programs and will be responsible to work cross-functionally throughout the organization. Position will also be responsible for managing internal creative resources and outside agencies and vendors.

Specific responsibilities will include:

Development and management of communications and materials in support of ongoing customer lifecycle program - including new user materials, ongoing usage campaigns, newsletters and up-sell/cross-sell promotions.

Development and management of operational communications. - Drafting of press releases and management of PR/IR related communications programs.

Development and management of lead generation programs (including direct mail and online).

Development and management of vertical marketing programs (legal, government, broadcasting)

Working closely with Director of Product Marketing to support launch of new products and existing products and programs. - Co-marketing support for key reseller, partner and customer relationships

Management of company website content.

Marketing support and event management of tradeshows/conferences.

Management of internal creative resource and outside consultants and vendors.

Develop ongoing marketing, positioning and communications strategy for customers and partners that highlight the products benefits.

Facilitate the alignment of the sales and marketing engagement activities with the customers needs. 

 

REQUIREMENTS

Essential Marketing Capabilities - Strong, proven written communication skills (MUST be able to write copy, draft press releases, develop sales collateral, etc).

Ability to manage and maintain multiple projects at once.

Ability to represent marketing department (both internally and externally) and effectively communicate plans to internal departments and outside vendors/partners.

Strong relationship management and project management skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, professional business environment

Ability to work effectively across our client's organization, interacting with sales, operations, business development, product development, product management, finance and technology teams

Ability to interact with all levels of our client's management, partners and customer staff (C- level through entry-level line staff) - Ability to switch between strategy, tactics and execution.

Ability to execute against both short-term deliverables and long term strategic initiatives - Strong interest and understanding of advanced technologies highly desirable - particularly Information Security, and Applications Software for the Financial Services vertical.

Requirements - 8+ years of successful marketing communications experience, preferably already performing at Director level. - Superb writing skills, with some creative design experience. - Proven track record of successful development and implementation of marketing communication programs - Experience and understanding of

BA or BS college degree,  preferably in a related field, such as Marketing, Communication, Public Relations.

Ability to travel domestically and internationally (estimate up to 30% of time)

This role will focus primarily on direct selling, with some responsibility to work with partners to close deals.

 

Responsibilities:

-          Responsible for networking with partners and industry contacts to identify leads and build awareness of our client's service offerings.

-          Responsible for building and executing against a pipeline of new leads. Prospecting and networking to develop the leads, setting appointments, and closing deals.

-          Responsible for management reporting, administration, and some account management of existing customers.

Required Qualifications and Education:

-          A minimum of 5 years of successful pre-sales, post sales, technical consulting or systems engineering experience in the network and systems security industry 

-          Experience with security technologies such as Data Loss Prevention, Authentication, Identity and Access Management is preferable.

-          History of working in high energy, successful, startup environment. 

-          Demonstrate a drive to succeed, high level of motivation, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively with customer technologists and other technical personnel within the organization

Experience:

-          BS or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields of study.

-          6+ years of security consulting experience with (DLP, GRC, SIM/SEM, IAM, firewalls, SSL VPNs, gateways, and IPS)

-          5+ years of Project management

-          A minimum of 5 years of successful pre-sales, post sales, technical consulting or systems engineering experience in the network and systems security industry 

-          Experience with security technologies such as Data Loss Prevention, Authentication, Identity and Access Management is preferable.

-          History of working in high energy, successful, startup environment. 

-          Demonstrate a drive to succeed, high level of motivation, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively with customer technologists and other technical personnel within the organization 

-          Proven track record of developing and managing technical relationships with prospects and customers throughout the sales cycle 

-          Strong analytical, written and oral skills with attention to detail and follow through are essential. 

-          Excellent organizational, customer service, communication, and presentation skills 

-          Strong working knowledge of operating systems (i.e.: Windows (9x, Me, 2K XP), UNIX, Red Hat Linux), scripts such as Python and Linux/Unix shell, and RDBMS Systems such as Oracle, MYSQL and MS SQL. 

-          Experience in Firewall, Intrusion Prevention, VPN, and other security focused technologies. Understanding of both networking and application related protocol & technologies 

-          Experience selling into industries with regulatory compliance related to GLBA, HIPPA, PCI DSS and Sarbanes-Oxley 

-          Experience working with Web Services and Web Developing tools (XML, XSD, XSL, XPATH, XSLT, WSDL, SOAP, etc )

-          CISSP, GIAC CISM certifications preferred. 

-          In-depth knowledge solution based technical sales lifecycle, from presales to post-sales.

-          Travel up to 60%, local and international, is mandatory.

Pre-Sales Engineer - Security -   Worchester, MA 


As a Pre-Sales Engineer you will work closely with the Regional Account Manager and Inside Sales Manager to grow and develop both end user and partner opportunities throughout this designated region in the United States. The Pre-Sales Engineer will provide pre sales services including system engineering, technical product presentations, training, trouble shooting and technical account management. 

Responsibilities: 

-          Provide pre and post sales technical support on behalf of both end user and partner accounts 

-          Conduct product demonstrations and technical overviews in support of industry trade shows, webinars, and on site customer opportunities. 

-          Accompany the Sales team to be the consultant for the customers for any technical questions.

-          Conduct customer driven interactive whiteboard discussions, designed to capture and understand each customer s unique security needs and concerns.

-          Act as a technical resource on Sales calls on issues such as product specifications, features, functionality and integration along with on site evaluation and installation support 

-          Document and have ownership in the success of clients and customers.

-          Train, coach, troubleshoot, and become the point of contact (POC) to resolve any issues and manage solutions for all customers and clients.

-          Deliver complex pre/post sales assessment, project plans, designs, documentation and implementations.
